Adidas x Coca-Cola x FIFA

Translating Global Sports Heritage into High-Engagement Regional Storytelling
Brand
Strategy
The FIFA World Cup represents one of the most visible cultural intersections in global sport and streetwear. Huntsville Coca-Cola had never previously executed a collaborative co-branded photoshoot. The challenge was to bridge three iconic heritage brands: Coca-Cola, Adidas, and FIFA into a cohesive, contemporary editorial series that felt authentic to both modern sportswear culture and the local community, rather than a generic promotional asset.
I led the end-to-end creative direction and marketing rollout for the production. Drawing inspiration from modern streetwear fashion and retro football kit aesthetics, I developed the styling mood boards, directed lighting and composition on-set, and ensured the visual balance harmonized Adidas’s performance apparel with Coca-Cola’s classic brand identity. Every frame was intentionally composed for digital distribution: high-contrast framing for mobile feeds, dynamic horizontal cuts for multi-asset carousels, and close-up detail shots that highlighted jersey textures and co-branded accents.
To maximize momentum, the assets were rolled out across Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook using a reveal strategy timed with tournament anticipation through story posts. By leaning into community pride and sportswear fandom rather than standard corporate messaging, the campaign broke performance benchmarks becoming the #1 most engaged post in Huntsville Coca-Cola’s digital history and establishing a new blueprint for how regional bottlers can execute high-level brand activations.

Great collaborative marketing doesn’t simply place two logos in the same frame...it captures the shared culture that connects them and Ashton visualized this perfectly.
Gary Tucker, CEO, Huntsville Coca-Cola
